About me
The Delaware River Port Authority plays an important role of stewards of
public transportation assets. Mr. Michael Venuto has been a dedicated public
service employee for the last 25 years and currently serves as Chief Engineer at
the Delaware River Port Authority. He is a NJ Licensed Professional Engineer
and Professional Land Surveyor in the State of New Jersey. Michael also serves
as an Adjunct Professor at Rowan university.
As Chief Engineer, Michael oversees the approximately $804 Million Dollar
five-year capital program ensuring that DRPA/PATCO’s assets are maintained,
improved, and protected for the benefit of the citizens we serve. These assets
include the Betsy Ross Bridge, Benjamin Franklin Bridge, Walt Whitman Bridge,
Commodore Barry Bridge and PATCO.
Michael holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University, an MBA
from Lehigh University and a B.S. in Surveying Engineering Technology from
New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a member of the New Jersey Society
of Professional Land Surveyors, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the
Engineers’ Club of Philadelphia.
