Audrey Dagnachew is Assistant Director for Capacity Building in the Procurement Department’s Office of Business Opportunity at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She leads certification, outreach, and training programs designed to expand access and help firms successfully navigate opportunities to do business with the Port Authority.
With more than 30 years of experience at the Port Authority, Audrey has held leadership roles spanning engineering, capital planning, program management, and aviation. She began her career in 1994 as an Engineering Associate and has supported major programs across the Aviation and Tunnels, Bridges and Terminals departments.
Prior to her current role, Audrey served as Program Director for Aviation Capital Programs, where she oversaw the Aviation Department’s multi-billion-dollar capital planning portfolio, Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) program, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant programs.
Audrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering, an MBA in Banking and Finance from Dowling College, and an Advanced Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).
