Dr. Ali is a researcher and educator in transportation engineering, serving as the Associate Director of the Center for Research and Education in Advanced Transportation Engineering Systems (CREATES) within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rowan University. With extensive technical expertise, Dr. Ali specializes in laboratory and field performance characterization of flexible pavements, innovative paving materials, roadway construction, and life-cycle cost analysis of transportation infrastructure. He also plays a key role in developing and updating specifications for transportation agencies to modernize construction practices.
