Dan Corrigan, Chief Engineer/Director of Engineering, joined the Authority in January 2024 and currently serves as Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering; having previously served as the Deputy Chief Engineer, Deputy Director of Engineering until January 2025. He is responsible for all engineering activities of the Authority, including the Atlantic City Expressway and the Atlantic City International Airport. His duties include environmental compliance, planning, design and construction of all Authority capital projects and facilities, including the coordination of activities between the Authority and its consultants. He also serves as the Authority’s voting member of the South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization’s Policy Board and Technical Advisory Committee. As the head of the Engineering Department, Dan is supported by seven staff members dedicated to planning, design, and construction related assignments on both the Atlantic City Expressway and the Atlantic City International Airport. Prior to the SJTA, Dan was within the Capital Design and Construction Department under SEPTA’s Engineering, Maintenance, & Construction Buildings and Bridges Division for nine years. Within this department he managed projects ranging from $20 Million up to $2.4 Billion. He also worked as a Township Engineering Consultant for various municipalities in New Jersey for eight years. Dan is a graduate of Rowan’s College of Engineering and a licensed professional Engineer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
