About me
Anthony “Tony” Lowman, Ph.D., is the first chancellor of Rowan University, where he leads one of the nation’s top 10 fastest-growing public research institutions. A biomedical engineer and entrepreneur, he has expanded Rowan’s academic offerings, launched New Jersey’s only veterinary school and helped position the university for Carnegie R1 status. Previously provost and engineering dean, Lowman is also co-founder of ReGelTec, a medical device company. He is a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors and the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineers.
