Dustin M. Schopen, PE, has more than 15 years of bridge engineering experience in new design and rehabilitation of existing structures. His expertise encompasses steel design and detailing, structural analysis, load rating and comprehensive project management from concept through construction support, with proficiency in MathCAD, MicroStation, AutoCAD, RISA, STAAD.Pro, LUSAS, CSiBridge, LARSA 4D, LEAP Bridge Concrete and OpenBridge software platforms. As Bridge Engineer and Project Manager, he has delivered complex replacement and rehabilitation projects with responsibilities spanning alternative analysis, design development, permitting, utility coordination, constructability reviews and construction administration including shop drawing reviews and RFI coordination. He holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware and B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and Structural Engineering Institute.
