Hannah Booz is a Roadway Designer at McCormick Taylor with five years of experience in engineering consulting and professional practice. Throughout her career, she has been actively involved in developing and supporting early-career professionals, serving as both a mentor and mentee through multiple mentorship programs with WTS Philadelphia. She is currently in her third year as the Student Member Transition Chair for ASCE Philadelphia’s YMF, leading their College Student Mentor Program where she helps create intentional opportunities for professional growth, knowledge sharing, and connection.
At McCormick Taylor, Hannah has mentored multiple interns and new hires across the firm, helping early-career engineers build the technical, communication, and professional skills needed to transition successfully into consulting practice. She also leads a 3D Design Committee focused on advancing the company’s capabilities and bringing teams up to speed with evolving 3D design practices and technologies.
As an early-career professional herself, Hannah has experienced firsthand the transition from new graduate to increasing responsibility and leadership. She is passionate about creating clearer expectations, stronger development pathways, and practical support systems that help engineers build confidence, professional judgment, and meaningful contributions early in their careers.
