Senator Michael L. Testa, Jr., a lifelong resident of Vineland, was elected to the New Jersey State Senate in 2019 to represent the First Legislative District and has since been re-elected twice by wide margins. He serves on two of the busiest committees in the Senate, the Senate Budget & Appropriations and the Senate Judiciary Committee. Senator Testa is also the Co-Chair of the bipartisan and bicameral New Jersey Legislative Manufacturing Caucus.
A graduate of Villanova University and Villanova University School of Law, with a Master of Laws from Temple University Beasley School of Law, Senator Testa is a partner in his family’s law firm in Vineland, Testa Heck Testa & White, PA. He is also the Chairman of the Cumberland County Regular Republican Organization.
In the Senate, he champions business growth, manufacturing, education, parental rights, veterans’ benefits, tourism, behavioral health and Substance disorders, law enforcement, re-entry programs, commercial fisheries, and the preservation of marine life. His strong advocacy for energy solutions and aƯordable living in New Jersey never stops. Senator Testa lives in Vineland with his wife, Julie, and their three children.
